I started going to Tina Romo two years ago. My hair was an absolute mess (I was doing a lot of self-color and not getting regular cuts). I told her that I wanted to start getting highlights and a cut that looks like Jennifer Aniston (OK, who doesn't want that). I have never had high expectations for my hair and am generally pretty easy to please. But, after going to Tina for a year and always feeling like a million dollars when I left, my expectations did change. I eventually moved from Sacramento to LA and spent the better part of six months trying to find a stylist that was friendly and could make me feel as good as I did when I left Tina. After being overcharged and very unhappy on two occasions, I decided that I would travel north to Sacramento to get my hair done by Tina. Not only did I miss the amazing color she did as well as the perfect cut, I missed her personality and the overall feeling I got after leaving. I have never written reviews, but after I got a compliment from someone the other night claiming that my hair looked "very Jennifer Aniston-esque", I figured Tina deserved some props. So there you have it...I fly from LA to Sacramento to have my hair done by Tina. AND, someone said I looked like Jennifer Aniston. She is the best!!

So, I am pretty finicky when it comes to getting my hair done. In fact, I might be a little bit of a stylist nightmare--rarely are things good enough! But Tina Romo at Canvas salon has colored and styled my hair beautifully over the last year. She is good at interpreting my cries of "Don't make me look stupid!", and consistently manages to make my hair look awesome--even when I'm growing it out and it's driving me crazy! Tina is totally professional while maintaining her sense of humor. She is the most pleasant perfectionist I know--and that's coming from another perfectionist!

I really enjoy getting my hair cut and colored with Tina. It ALWAYS looks great when she is done. I can tell her what I want specifically and she can do it, or I can say I don't know do whatever, and she makes my hair look fantastic. Thanks Tina!
